The Summer of Music: Indianapolis Moms Guide to Summer Concerts


Pack up your camp chairs in the back of the car and stock your cooler full of sandwiches because we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite places to head outside and enjoy live music with your family this summer! 

The Summer Under the Sails series at the Eiteljorg Museum offers an added bonus of museum admission every Wednesday in June and July from 5-8PM before the live music begins at 6PM under the sails! 


On Thursdays from May 30th to July 18th you can enjoy concerts on the canal from 6-8PM. This concert series is free with seating in the grassy area of the canal or tickets can purchased for seating at the Stardust Terrace Cafe.


The Indy Parks hosts a summer concert series throughout many of it’s most popular parks with most being free or just the cost of gate admission.


Concerts by the Creek– Food trucks, adult beverages for purchase, and live music in Avon, Indiana.

Meadowood Park in Speedway, Indiana hosts a Summer Concert Series find the whole lineup here.


You’d have to try really hard not to find live music in Hamilton County. Here’s a list of all of the places to find live music this summer in Fishers this summer!


Summer Concerts at The Gazebo is great family fun for everyone in Carmel, Indiana. 


Music on Main is an event in Beech Grove, Indiana held on August 24th. There will be food trucks, a kids zone, unique arts, crafts, jewelry, health products, a beer garden, and much more.


The Lions Club hosts a free concert each in Sunday in July at the gazebo in Lions Club Park in Zionsville, Indiana. 


Head to Craig Park in Greenwood, Indiana for a summer full of live music each Saturday evening this summer.
