DeAndrea is Midwest blazed, grazed and raised. She resides in Broad Ripple with her husband, Steve, daughter, Weslie Vivian, and Stephen Eric Beaven III (aka Trey). DeAndrea is a 2000 graduate of Pike High School and 2004 graduate of Indiana State University with a Degree in Communications Studies and Marketing. She works full time at Harrison College as a Senior Enrollment Specialist. In her spare time, along with blogging, DeAndrea volunteers at the Center for Leadership Development mentoring young girls. Her hobbies include, reading, shopping and being a pop culture enthusiast.

Emily is a busy working mom with 2 very active boys (Dylan & Tyler) and a very adventurous husband (Dustin)! She lives in Brownsburg and works in fundraising for a large nonprofit, promoting heart health in our youth (inspired by her oldest son who was born with a heart defect). She is also a Bootcamp instructor at her church and CycleStar at CycleBar-TradersPoint. Emily and her family love to do Spartan Races together and share their passion of creating healthy families through fitness and nutrition. She also loves audio books, yellow Labrador Retreivers, has a love/hate relationship with running and loves chocolate chip cookies.

After spending two years fighting the tourists in Orlando, Florida, Lauren returned home to this great state and now lives in Carmel. A self proclaimed “boy mom”, Lauren loves spending time with her little man Andrew and husband James. She is a sports lover, runner and avid traveler. Lauren considers motherhood her greatest adventure and loves that she gets to share her stories with IMB readers.

Regan is a stay at home mom to little man, Damon. Originally from Columbus, IN she graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design. After meeting husband John in Boston, they moved to Indiana seeking “adventure.” She has worked a majority of her career in higher education, most recently at Butler University. A children’s book illustrator at heart and trade, Regan is enjoying time with her little guy as she begins to rebuild her portfolio. You can find her around the Southside of Indianapolis as she runs after Damon, a very active toddler.

Kimberly is a 37 yr old working mom of a 12 year old girl with a precious baby boy. She is recently married after being a single mom for 10 years. Kim keeps busy as the director of Body Sculpting Med Spa in Carmel and is also currently renovating a 1970s ranch home. She loves to travel, cook and entertain family and friends. Kim likes to call herself “the opposite of a Helicopter Mom” and isn’t one bit ashamed that she’s never been to one of her daughter’s class parties. This new adventure of raising both a teenager and a baby will certainly make for some interesting blog posts and exciting life lessons!

Aileen is a native New Yorker who has now spent more than half her life as a Hoosier. She is a mom to four children- the “bigs” Ava (14) and Noah (12) and the “Littles” Ben (almost 10) and Vivian (8). She is married to Chris, a guy she met in a bar almost 20 years ago. A dog named Jack and a bearded dragon named Spike round out their family.  Aileen works part time as a pediatric nurse in a private practice in Carmel. Her kids like to think their dad is a top secret government agent but he’s really a computer engineer. Her life is loud and crazy and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Aileen enjoys taking her crew on adventures both around home and across the country. She loves  strong coffee, good food, working out, and spending time with my circle of best friends.

Amanda is a solo mama to Mira Joey and founder of The Cocktails & Chemo Foundation, a group focused on caring for caregivers in honor of her late husband, Joe. Amanda is a sushi eater, lip gloss lover, blog writer and podcast host.

Amy is the mom to three little girls- ages six and under. Born in small town Indiana, she has been a Hoosier her entire life and frequently threatens to change that- but probably never will. When not playing Barbies, she enjoys coffee, brunch, working out and silence- but the kind of silence that isn’t followed by a disaster like a flooding sink or nail polish in the carpet. She speaks fluent sarcasm and can dig in to anything Pop Culture related.

Anne is a an ambitious free spirit with a passion to interact with moms from all walks of the journey. In addition to teaching full time, she is a mental health and postpartum depression advocate with the initiation of Partum Pals in 2018 as a community and social media space to instill knowledge and awareness to parents finding themselves in need of support, central to Indy. Outside of the “mom life,” she is also known to host trivia events around Indy restaurant establishments and area school philanthropies. Nothing keeps her busier, however, than her toddler son and dog named Whitney Houston. Although, she does love everything from an outdoor concert, to the Hoosiers and Colts, to working out with friends. She is excited to begin this adventure with Indianapolis Moms!

Angie is a 40 year old mom to Graham (7) and Grace (newborn). Both children are adopted and Angie is adopted too! She is crazy in love with her husband Mike, after 14 years of marriage. As a breast cancer survivor, she is a strong advocate for early 3D mammogram detection before women turn 40. When not spending time with family, Angie pours her heart and soul into teaching children with special needs. Her life is full of fitness, inspiring mama friends, coffee, church, online shopping, and red wine.

Ashley is a stay-at-home mom to one wild toddler, a newborn, and one very ornery Goldendoodle–ALL BOYS #outnumbered. She resides in her small hometown on the northside with her husband and boy gang. She loves writing, yoga, finding new parks to explore, and googling stuff she should probably talk to a doctor about instead…

Formerly a veteran English teacher and school counselor, Becca now self-identifies as a full-time mom-arazzi to her 18-month-old daughter, Lottie Grace. Other notable accomplishments include, but are not limited to, a nearly flawless record of leaving Target with a budget still intact, writing for her personal blog, nearly never subjecting her husband to reality television, logging record-breaking Instagram scroll sessions, being outdoors, and tirelessly working to find the humor in life.

Elle is a wife, mother, and business owner. A hoosier by way of Northern California, she has now called central Indiana home for over two decades. She and her husband, Matt, met at Westfield High School. After graduating from Purdue they settled in Carmel where Elle spends her days with the couple’s five year old twin daughters, Lauren and Grace, their three year old son, Patrick, and their infant twins, John and Elizabeth. After a difficult infertility diagnosis in 2012, and the subsequent efforts to build their family, she considers motherhood to be a tremendous gift, and something she never takes for granted. In between the welcomed chaos of five kids under six, Elle co-owns and operates an equestrian facility in Westfield.

Emily is a mom to two (almost three) kids and lives in the Midtown area with her family and their fluffy golden doodle, Ellie. After graduation from IU (Go Hoosiers!), she taught kindergarten for 4 years before taking her wedding photography business full-time. She spends her days playing with the boys and running the business, but as a family, they enjoy lots of hikes, creek stopping, and scooter rides! She’s passionate about child development and learning through play, preterm labor and delivery (after their second son was born at 26 weeks), and photographing special moments for couples and their families.

Emily is a wife and stay-at-home/work-from-home mama of a four-year-old daughter and two-year-old son. When she’s not filling milk cups, singing nursery rhymes or sweeping up Cheerios off of the floor, Emily works as an editor for a large healthcare system. During her alone time, she enjoys working out, baking, writing, and has recently rekindled her love for tap dancing.

A self-proclaimed “Hot Mess Mom”, Bailey is enjoying her whirlwind life in Brownsburg with her husband, two toddlers and a newborn baby, and golden doodle. She’s a proud IU graduate, former Indianapolis Colts Cheerleader, and now taking on her greatest adventure of all, motherhood. When she’s not chasing her kids, she has a passion for dance, yoga, and Netflix. Bailey enjoys writing about real life as a mom: the good, the bad, and the sticky.

Erin is a Hoosier girl that loves all things Indy. She lives in Fountain Square with her husband Michael, son Clark, and fur baby Murphy. When she grows up she wants to be a backup dancer for Lizzo, but until that time, she works as a Relationship Manager for a large human resources management software company. Erin is a beer connoisseur, she never turns down a carb, and Kacey Musgraves is always on repeat on her Spotify.

Janelle is originally from Washington State, but is now a “Hoosier” of 13 years. She is a 6th grade teacher in Perry Township and lives in Greenwood with her husband, Ryan, her 8 month old son Brice and is expecting a baby girl sometime in late August. She and her husband are also parents to 3 crazy rescue hound dogs and have been involved in various dog rescue organizations over the last several years. In her free time, Janelle loves to spend time outdoors, traveling, playing sports and exploring Indiana.

Jen is a licensed psychotherapist, play therapist, and parent educator practicing in Zionsville. After spending 13 years in California she is slowly acclimating to suburban life. She loves exploiring Indianapolis parks and trails with her husband and 2 children. When not with the kids, she loves coffee, mediation, and audiobooks.

Kate is a born and bred Hoosier who has never strayed far from the southside. She and her husband have the privilege of raising their two little boys on acreage family owned for generations. She is a second grade teacher and is consistently figuring out how to balance the “teacher gig” with the “mom gig”. When she isn’t busy wrangling toddlers she enjoys reading, writing, date nights and watching her boys play on the land their Daddy grew up on. She is passionate about writing freely about her experiences, and hopes that she can help remind Mamas that they are not alone in this beautifully complicated job of being a Mama.

Katy is a licensed teacher and a master’s level special educator K-12. Katy is also an accomplished actor, speaker, and studio vocalist with roles spanning theaters in the midwest and Carnegie Hall. After teaching special education for eight years, she is now a stay at home mom who really doesn’t stay at home. She is a speaker and worship team leader at St. Lukes Methodist Church and on staff with SpeakIndy, LLC. She and her husband became licensed foster parents in 2015 and met, fell in love, and adopted their son who is now 4. They also have a two year-old daughter. Katy is a survivor of sexual trauma and has been gratefully sober since May 9, 2015. Katy’s passions include politics, dismantling racism, cake, writing, educating herself on trauma and the Autism Spectrum, tacos, deep conversations, and bargain shopping in used clothing and resale shops.

Kaylee is a wife to Cody and boy mom to Lewis and Sheamus. She has been a central Indiana girl her whole life, currently residing in Avon with her family and bullmastiff Buckley. Kaylee was a teacher for 7 years before becoming a stay at home mom. She’s a lover of bookstores, Netflix, good food and beer, vacation planning, and treating everyday like Christmas while navigating this messy and wonderful life.

An educator turned work from home mother of two beautiful girls, she is truly living her best life. Paula enjoys writing, creating, being a wife and mother, and finding a great deal when shopping.

Kelly has lived in Indiana all her life and loves being a Hoosier. She met her husband Aaron during her first day of college and the rest is history. She is the mom of a five year old boy and two year old girl. Kelly recently left the corporate marketing world after 15+ years to pursue her passion of owning her own marketing firm, Wild Flamingo Marketing. She is passionate about helping businesses based here in Indianapolis grow with the right mix of strategy, branding, social media, website, and email marketing. She loves Indiana basketball, spending time outside, local restaurants, concerts, craft beer, and traveling.

Kristi grew up in Danville, Indiana where she met her childhood sweetheart and now husband Elliott. After years of living apart including graduate school in New York City and military tours abroad, they resettled and started a family in Indianapolis. Together, they are raising two bright and busy boys—Henry and George. She is a proud extrovert who is genuinely curious about people and enjoys making new friends. She is a social worker by training and has enjoyed a 15 year career in non-profit. In her “spare” time, she enjoys reading memoirs, doing yoga, playing with her boys and listening to her husband, the funniest person she knows.

Krysten is a marketing professional with a passion for all things creative by day and a “let’s see how much we can cram into 4 hours” wife and mom by night. Growing up in a small town in southern Indiana, Krysten moved to Indy with her beloved dog, Ellie, after college. Go, IU! Now a resident of Fishers, she can often be found exploring new (to her) parks and restaurants or dreaming of the days where taking the time to go golfing with her husband, Tony, was a thing; experiencing the wonderfully exhausting and surprisingly sticky world as mom of a toddler (Avery) and new crewmember (Maddie); or traveling around the tri-state area to visit friends and family. Krysten was part handy-woman, part detective in her past life, and would never turn down a tray of nachos.

Lindsey Cornett is a loud talker, iced coffee drinker, and lover of the written word who lives in downtown Indianapolis with her scientist husband and three young kids. In both writing and life, she explores the intersections of faith, family, creativity, and freedom from perfectionism. She’s out there providing hope and solidarity to any other women who find themselves afraid to make mistakes. Marianne and her husband, Jordan, are high-school sweethearts, and their family has now grown to include two children (Axel & Campbell) and two fur babies. Marianne is a Pharmaceutical Marketer by day and is openly addicted to Target, iced coffee, HGTV, & Amazon Prime.

If Megan were a Bravo housewife her tagline would be, “Might be dead inside, but I’m the life of the party.” Raised on a farm, but always knew she belonged in the city. After graduating from Indiana University with a degree in Journalism, she married the love her life and they lived happily ever after, until they didn’t. Enter brain cancer and the widowhood at the age of 32. Four years later she’s living her best, Option B life, and raising her daughter, Emme, in Broad Ripple. She loves Brandon Flowers, crystals, Bravo, Nordstrom, and Starbucks. Not necessarily in that order. When she’s not working or writing for Indianapolis Moms, she’s saying all the things you wish you could, on her own blog, Blonde Is the New Widow.

Melissa is a southerner who has made Indiana her home. She is mom to Nolan, a spunky five year old little girl, as well as soon-to-be-wife. Just this year, Melissa started Nolan James. A shopping experience for women and men. Melissa loves to be with her family and friends, work on building Nolan James, and running for sanity. You can always find her at home with her standing laundry date on Friday’s except when she has a festival to attend.

Miranda is a first time mom to 1-year-old Avett. She works full time as a social worker and admits that this professional work influences her parenting style and blog content greatly! Especially because her husband is a social worker as well. Miranda and her family live on the near south side of Indianapolis in the fixer upper they have recently gutted and renovated. Miranda was born and raised, for the most part, in Indianapolis and in her free time you can find her with her family trying a new Indy brewery or restaurant, or showing Avett one of the many great things about Indianapolis as a city! Miranda also enjoys yoga, hiking, traveling, swimming, writing, and sharing every experience with her family.

Roleen is an elementary school teacher and a fitness instructor. She created Baddie Cardio, an intense workout series, powered by popular hio-hop, latin and reggae music. Roleen resides on the westside of Indianapolis with her husband, Antoine and their three children, Reya, Maxwell and Aria. She enjoys hosting epic themed parties composing educational songs and fanatically shopping for lipstick at MAC. Sarah grew up a small town Indiana girl, now living in downtown Indianapolis. She is a wife, mama to a little guy, Jackson (1), and a full-time teacher on the westside of Indianapolis. Before having her son, Sarah and her husband took a small break away from Indianapolis to live in England for a couple of years while traveling around Europe. She loves spending quality time with her family in the downtown neighborhoods as well as running, cooking, and reading.

Sierra is a wife, mom, and works full-time for local benefits consulting company. Born and raised in Indianapolis, she now resides in Fishers with her husband (Tommy) and two young children (Jaden & Skylar). When she’s not working or chasing after her little ones, she enjoys reading, writing for her personal blog, listening to podcasts, trying new recipes, spend time with friends, and has recently developed an interest in yoga.

She left her job in July 2019 as a church office administrator, and started in the front office of her daughters elementary school so she could enjoy more time with her littles. When Tara isn’t chasing kids or picking – up the house, you can find her crafting with her cricut or enjoying a good book and glass of wine.
