And tonight…

is Pride of Indy Bands Night Music and Movie Night! Featuring the music of Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, followed by the movie! This is an all ages event.

Concert starts at 7:30pm, movie to follow.

Location: Historic Military Park at White River State Park

You can find the rest of the week’s events here.

Here are some tips from a Pride-with-Kids veteran:

  1. If you have one, bring a spray bottle with a fan attached. It’s going to be in the high 80’s this weekend! Every year, I wish we had one so I could just fan the kids in the stroller with some spray.
  2. Bring cash!
  3. Be ready to be so proud of your city. Past legislations has sent conflicting messages to the rest of the world about who Indiana is, and as our state’s capital, it is such an honor and privilege to celebrate this way, in solidarity. This celebration marks PRIDE, but is also rich with a history of bravery, resistance, social activism, and solidarity.
